Have you heard of âQuitterâs Dayâ? Thanks to a recent Apple commercial, we learned that Quitterâs Day is the second Friday in January (January 10th this year) and, according to research, is the day that New Yearâs resolutions are thrown out the window. đ This is particularly true of health and wellness goals, which seem to dominate the resolutions made every year.
For those of you that made a health or wellness resolution this year, we have good news. West Palm Beach and Palm Beach are making themselves quite the wellness haven these days, which may help you keep those resolutions alive past Friday (more on this below đ). For those of you that refuse to make resolutions, we applaud that you donât need to wait for a new year to make the most of each day. đ

Itâs the first full work week of the new year, and everyoneâs looking to resetâeven local airline Silver Airways. The airline đŠ has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, with up to $500 million in both debts and assets. So, if you were planning a flight from FLL to the Bahamas or around Florida, youâll want to double check your travel plans (although Silver stated operations will continue as normal).
